Things that made me happy today:

Two or three long-term projects getting focused and moving. (Is that good enough vague-booking?)

Max brought home a huge pumpkin yesterday. He fastened it in the back seat with the seat belt so it wouldn’t roll around driving home. It is the size of a small child. I’m not sure what it’s future will be.

Had the time today to get in some good reading. In one of the periodicals I subscribe to. I’ve loved to read for seventy plus years and reading words on a piece of paper just beats all.

The crows are back. They’ve been gone for a few weeks. Time to get that 40 pound sack of peanuts. Maybe Friday.

And you? I’d love to hear what made you happy today.

Keep going.

Things that made me happy today:

My regular physical yielded good marks for everything. Yay for some good genes.

I finished this puzzle today. 1981. 500 big odd pieces. It just took a few hours. Fun. Available for trade or gift. Let me know. It’s 22 x 22.

High school girls’ outdoor soccer at 715 tonight.

I planted some seeds last week in a little flat container that are supposed to produce grass that cats just can’t resist. There’s definitely some interest but nothing overwhelming. Maybe they have to get acquainted first??

And you? What made you happy today?

Keep going.

Things that made me happy today:

My fancy pants datura with the purple border. Wow.

Church. Really. Always.

I loved the instrumental music today. We have a big, powerful organ in the loft and a well-tuned grand on the dais and when they play together, it’s like being inside one instrument. That was today.

Brunch with friends. The best.

A long, slow afternoon with family and a nap and some old series tv and some reading. A great way to wind up the week.

And you? What made you happy? I’d love to hear.

Keep going.
