Things that made me happy today:

Another day of pleasant weather.

I saw two red bellied woodpeckers in the pecan across the street today. It’s still a little early for mating, so I’m assuming they were just searching for bugs. This weather’s got to be confusing for the animals.

Max worked on “careers” this afternoon — researching different ideas, checking on training requirements, etc. That’s a Never Before for him.

Considering finding a dark-ish place to watch the Quadrantid asteroids tonight. My last such trip was to see whatever comet was going through the sky. Several of us laid on the warm pavement so we didn’t crick up our necks with sky gazing. It was me and several crazy sky watching immigrants.

That sentence made me happy.
