Things that made me happy today:

Max getting into the rhythm of working five days a week. It’s really heavy, physical work but he’s liking it and likes the people he’s working with. And we can’t forget, he’s making some money — a new sensation for him.

Cooler weather again. I moved to Dallas in September or October and thought it was like this year-round. So wrong. But I really do like this kind of weather. 80s daytime, 60s overnight.

Beautiful sunrise this morning. My bedroom faces east and I get a great view every morning.

So many friends in Europe this week. How did I get so many friends who could do that? And send back pictures? Even three or four who happen to be in London this week. Vicarious travels.
