Things that made me happy recently:

Church on Sunday. Folks are happy to get back in person. The music was really lovely.

Afterwards my bunch went out for brunch. The conversation is always lively and it’s great to just relax with friends.

The weather is stunning. Today the high was in the 80s, sunny, a little breezy, and generally Texas State Fair weather!! So pleasant.

I started a Pfizer flu vaccine study today for people over 65. It’s four visits over six months at $120 a visit, so it’s a nice piece of change. They’re looking for volunteer subjects.

My research tech was a woman who’s a doctor in Malaysia with too many barriers to practice here. I really enjoyed becoming friends.

Went to see Bros at the Angelika with good friends. Wow! What a movie. The best one I’ve seen in a really long time. Best on five or six different scales. I laughed so hard I thought I might have to leave the theater to take a break and get my breath.
