Things that made me happy today:

Ruby’s making 100s in Algebra I. Wow!!

I picked up 20 or so voter registration mail-in cards today for my neighborhood project. I’m going to go door-to-door asking if folks are registered to vote and giving them a stamped card (if they want it) that they just have to stick in their mailbox. (Are you registered?)

I saw Red Rabbit in the back yard this morning. Or his off spring. The same rusty red color across his shoulders. Yay. Back yard rabbits have been quite scarce this summer.

Spectacular BLACK storm clouds for a few hours this afternoon. Until they dumped some of that rain. It still surprises me when one side of the street is wet and the other side isn’t. I know that cloud has to end somewhere but it doesn’t seem like it would be right Here!

I sometimes shop at Market Street, a small chain grocery not far from my house. Whoever programs their music must have graduated from high school with me. Only Tom Thumb on Mockingbird caters to my demographic that way.
