Things that are making me happy:

All my Christmas cactuses (cacti seems pretentious) are budding out. Including the pot with two colors. How do it know?

After the crows call me and I set out the peanuts, a single blue jay dashes in for one peanut. He knows just where to go. And he has to be quick and a little stealthy because the crows are watching!!

The peanuts they or the squirrels planted this summer are vining out too. In some pots that used to be empty.

My alley find from a couple of years ago keeps growing more patina (i.e., rust). I like the look. See below. I might print up some note cards.

My house hunt is on hiatus for another week and I just devised a rating code to abbreviate long analysis of each listing. That will be Saturday’s work.
