Things that made me happy today:

Church was great, as always. Music was a marimba and flute combo. Amazing. Just amazing.

My brunch bunch went to a new place — we’re trying to find a quiet spot, preferably outdoors, where we can talk with a group of 6 or 8. It’s harder than it sounds. We ate at City Cafe this morning — good food, deli service. Great conversation.

Got home early enough and there’s still good light in the living room — to work on my puzzle for a bit.

And Ruby is ready for Driver’s Ed. We got her signed up on line — which was about 5x harder than it needed to be. But we think she’s in.

Two or three of the crows are back this morning. They’ve been gone for weeks. And I just looked out the window and the Cooper’s Hawk is on the peak of my neighbor’s roof. I don’t usually see them in the city, but this is #3 this week.
