Things that made me happy today:

Church. Great music. (Kindred Voices choir.) A rip-roaring sermon.

Brunch later at City Club. Seven of us having a pretty loud good time. Some of our regular group have returned from summer away.

Still getting Max and Ruby set up for Driver’s Ed, scheduling their permits (quite a lead time). The state is so short handed that appointments are now being made for December and January and even later for a learner permit. Never mind for the driver’s test.

Slight rain on and off all day. Next to nothing accumulated.

I’m settling in for some old movie on line tonight. Haven’t chosen yet. Got a recommendation? I’ll add it to my list.
