Things making me happy:

Church. Just always. Today’s sermon was profoundly moving and the music was wonderful. And, of course, being in the same space with Beloved Community was satisfying.

Our brunch bunch got treated again by our restaurant hosts. This time it was three ENORMOUS pieces of pie: chocolate, pecan, and pumpkin. I sampled them all but the pecan was most excellent. City Cafe loves us. And we love them. We searched quite a while for a good fit and they are it for us.

Ruby and I practiced parallel parking. She is really a good pattern person, so once I showed her how to line up with this or that, she had it down. Her road test is Wednesday but Manin has to work, so I’m not sure I can substitute. We’ll drive to the local office and find out tomorrow. Her test is in Bowie, so we have a bit of a drive.

Chilly, rainy afternoon = good for napping and more of that super hard puzzle.

One of my Christmas cactuses has already popped a bloom so it’s sitting on my desk next to my computer. It looks like every single branch has a couple of buds. Lots of joy and beauty for $4.99. This is its second year.

What’s making you happy these days? I do love to hear.

Keep going.
