Making me happy these days:
Church this morning. And last night. And it’s just the beginning for a December full of holiday gatherings.
The gingko trees at church snapped into their fall colors in the last several days.
I have several volunteer oaks from the ginormous oak tree at my across-the-alley neighbor’s house. The tallest one is nearly 5 feet tall in four years and turning a beautiful color this year.
And I transplanted half a dozen kalanchoe babies from my Mother plant. These are a month or so old now and headed for a gift. They’ll be twice this big come Christmas.
And, on the not-green front — in addition to the other yellow Fit that’s often at church with me (and that often parks nearby), A THIRD YELLOW HONDA FIT drove up last night while I was walking into church. Of course I waited for them to get out and walk in with me. They are as ridiculously giddy about their yellow Fit as I am. It’s very goofy.
And you? What’s making you happy today? Or any day.
Keep going.
