Things that made me happy today:

1. Our senior minister is back from vacation and

2. Delivered a blockbuster of a sermon. (Listen tonight at 7 Central or later)

3. We were back in the sanctuary for one service and the place was as full as it’s been in two or three years. People were soooo happy to be together. Hugging and clapping and generally making a joyful noise to each other.

4. Donuts after the service.

5. I discovered that out of the 11 “missing from last week” notes for Ruby’s school work — all had been completed except a required signature for me and one worksheet that she had completed but not turned in. Excellent start, Roobydoo, for a new year at school. Yay!
