Five things that made me happy today:

1. I made it through the day, only forgetting one call that I host, with no lasting damage and no police reports. What a day!

2. Mr Squirrel has found the milo in the backyard. It’s probably pretty tasty. He has to pull it down and then he nibbles on each grain. This milo grew from my birdseed, which I find a surprise.

3. I called for help from paid and un-paid allies and they all said yes. That’s a win in my book any day.

4. Max got to leave campus for lunch today as a senior who’s doing okay with his school work. His friend Anthony came with us to a Korean restaurant. I got in a few sentences while the two of them were totally engaged in conversation for the entire time.

5. Ruby and I made a plan for the four weeks until the end of her school quarter. She has two courses to really work on AND she got three really good marks this week. Yay, Ruby.
