Five things that made me happy today:

1. Six or eight crows called, first me with the peanuts, then several other crows to come and feast. Great start to a Saturday morning.

2. I made reservations for Sunday week, our first Sunday back in-person at church. I can hardly wait. There will be lots of hugging and probably some tears at seeing friends in person after 18 months!

3. Got my nails done. A little luxury I give myself every six weeks or so. I like the woman who does them and we have become friends, although it’s hard to hear her with our masks on and the shop is a little noisy. I also know the owner and whoever answers the phone knows me (and what I usually get done). So that’s pretty sweet.

4. My friend Cynthia Durham came to borrow my easel, and some puzzles for her daughter, and, of course, stayed for a while to talk. Good friends are precious.

5. Another quiet evening just ahead. Reading Ken Wilber. Makes me think I’d love to find a Wilber study group again.

You? What’s making you happy today? Or, better said, when did you encounter the Divine today?

Keep going.
