Things making me happy:

Yard work done by 9 am, in the cool of the morning.

Finishing Demon Copperhead for the second time. (Book Club soon.) Such a good read. Kingsolver is a masterful storyteller.

Family dinner last night at Rodeo Goat, a new favorite burger restaurant with a deck on the creek, and cool enough weather to sit out there. Celebrating Max’s and Ruby’s accomplishments at their schools.

Bringing in the hummingbird feeders to clean up for spring. I put them out in time to catch a couple of hummers every day on their migration for a couple of weeks, now they’re gone just as quick.

Texas Anoles everywhere. And fast.

We’re getting fall angles on the sunlight. Equinox, Plano Balloon Festival, Cottonwood Park coming fast. That’s how long I’ve lived in Dallas.
