Things that made me happy today:

Pleasantly cool-ish all day. Maybe 85 high? Maybe less.

I had the front lawn edged and cleaned up by 9 am. Then I spent the rest of the morning thinking it was time for lunch!

Ruby’s soccer team won 4 to 0. It wasn’t as lop-sided as the score. The other team gave them a run for their money.

We are celebrating good grades for the quarter (Ruby) and a month’s worth of employment (Max) so we went to a new favorite restaurant, Rodeo Goat, in Plano. Burgers made to order. And I mean, Made To Order. We like to sit outdoors, above the creek, next to the koi tank.

I spotted a single Monarch near the soccer field. Come on, butterflies. Show your stuff.
