These things are making me happy. What’s on your list?
I have a great landlady. My oven quit working properly. A repair man came this morning to diagnose BIG electronic problems, the repair costing more than a new stove. She sent her handyman to shop,; he bought a new stove; it’s coming on Monday. That’s pretty darn fast for Thanksgiving week.
I tried a TikTok recipe (why I new the oven was kaput) and it is pretty darn good. Had to use the Soto oven to get ‘er done. Pic below.
I have a fire in the fireplace. I have enough wood for 3 or 4 more fires — just about enough to last until my move.
I have a cute little bright green chain saw (from my friend Kenda-Le Pernin’s moving sale) that got lost in my garage. I have been looking and looking for that bright green color. I found it today, wrapped in a white trash bag to make sure the motor oil didn’t leak out on something. Hello!
Church tomorrow. Crafty Bake Sale. (I can never escape with just one thing.) Brunch with friends. Ah, Sunday.
