5 things that made me happy today:

1. Experimenting with a new collage iteration. I’ll have pix tomorrow or the next day. A little crafty — but a fun, low-dollar item for the sale in June.

2. An all-family shopping trip to the The Benefit Store to find a desk chair for Ruby (we found one for Max), a desk for Max (nope), and a sofa for MarySue (nope). But it’s fun to look around. Our family loves thrift stores.

3. L.o.n.g hot drink break with a friend. We can nurse a single hot drink for a couple of hours, easy. Our break was punctuated by

4. A guy backing a 56 or 60' moving van rig into a narrow alley across the street from the Starbucks [on Knox. It’s quite a narrow street]. I love a good backing job, so I walked outside to better supervise. Another big rig was in the blocked traffic, so that driver climbed down to direct the guy in the moving van. Ah, success.

5. A tiny little anole in the kitchen this morning, rescued from the cat and released in the garden. Hope he’s happy.

How about you? What made you happy today? Or yesterday?

Keep going.
