5 things that made me happy today:

1. I like it that the debris I tracked in today is mostly spent blossoms from the pear tree next door. It looks like someone has spilled a bunch of white speckles on the floor.

2. I dreamed up a project for the kids to start tomorrow that involves making a custom cover for one of the sofas — measuring, making a pattern, buying fabric, using a sewing machine etc. I think it’ll keep us busy off and on for a couple of days. They won’t know they’re doing math.

3. If you haven’t found Lynn Unger’s poems, I recommend. They are making a silk purse out of this pandemic experience. I’ll put one in the comments.

4. Made a few more pieces of art today. Little art. I’ll have some pix soon.

5. Setting up a zoom meeting for a group on Thursday. I’m thinking I could zoom a bit every day!

You? What made you happy today? I’d love to read about it.

Keep going.
