Revisit July 5, 2019

5 things that made me happy today:

1. Saw the Toni Morrison bio pic with a friend — wow! Want to see it again, on video, with a room full of friends who love her work, and we can talk and stop and start all the way through!

2. The sparrows who live in the jasmine growing over the neighbors wall are having a week-long orgy. Mr Sparrow is so enthusiastic!

3. This is day #8 in my own place — the longest stretch in more than a year — and it’s really good to be home for a bit!

4. The two begonias on my bedroom porch are outgrowing their pots. They seem super happy out there.

5. The flamingos near the pool are working the front part of the bed now. And the mallard is back in the pool. I’m thinking I might add an animal out there, too.
