FIVE THINGS THAT MADE ME HAPPY TODAY:
1. Saw the comet. With my very own eyes. Well, with binoculars. It’s pretty faint now. Ruby and I headed out to what I thought might be a dark spot and it was dark enough. Another family was there who had spotted the comet last night and they were really helpful. No way I would have found it without their help. Always talk to strangers.
2. Mañin Soto and I worked on the a/c leak at his house and think we got it solved. Morning will tell.
3. Zoomed with Creative Community at noon. It’s so good to touch base and some of us are actually playing a bit with art these days. Zoom makes for easy show and tell!
4. Max showed me some amazing, unknown blooms in his side-of-the-house garden. We will have to look them up.
5. Did I say I saw the comet? It was good, old-fashioned fun — being out in the middle of a big field with strangers in the dark showing off our astronomy skills, and locating a once-every-6800-years visitor. Time well spent!
I’d love to hear what made you happy today!
Keep going.
