Revisit February 9, 2019

5 things that made me happy today:

1. A stocker at WalMart told me I made his day when I found something I was looking for where he told me it was and I walked back to tell him he told me right!

2. The Bengal Marauders tore up the large spathiphyllum (ha, facebook does not know how to spell this word but I do) from Kim’s memorial service so I went to Dr Delphinium to buy a replacement. They couldn’t have more cordial and two of the women in the shop traded bengal stories with me.

3. Walked to neighborhood Trader Joe’s — for some more of those mini cones. The ones without calories. It was a brisk walk but 35 degrees isn’t so bad if you’re bundled up and it’s only four blocks and there’s no wind.

4. A brief power outage on my side of the block, apparently, gave me a chance to dig out some candles and lanterns and take a break from all things electric.

5.I invented a kind of potato hash dinner that was quite tasty.
