FIVE THINGS THAT MADE ME HAPPY TODAY:
1. On
, someone posted from Haiku, Hawaii. I know someone who “retired” to Haiku. Who could forget that name? The poster found my friend on facebook (a recent member) and I contacted her. We worked together in the 80s. I love connections!
2. Had take out sushi dinner with the Soto family, celebrating Kim and all of us.
3. Kids and I did school, baked cupcakes, visited a close-in bluebonnet field with some snacks and sat in the sun for an hour or so, enjoying a day that Kim would like.
4. Had a minor repair in the garage and the repair person found a major calamity just ready to happen. — And fixed it. Yay for being thorough.
5. In about 30 minutes all the “Aunties,” Kim’s friends from UPS will be calling for a family zoom. They have all been such steadfast friends, for about 25 years now. I love them all.
I’d love to hear what made you happy today.
Keep going.
