Five things that made me happy today:

1. Max’s first Bonus Day was relaxing and productive. He finished his overdue work this morning. Yay.

2. Really a gorgeous Texas fall day — 85 or so in the afternoon but 60s overnight.

3. Perfect weather for the State Fair of Texas. Max wants to go this week with a friend.

4. Puzzle time with a new puzzle. It’s about 40" x 13" so it’ll be a while.

5. Calls for appointments, paying bills, etc. Household stuff that is not my favorite but makes me happy when I’m done.
