Five things that made me happy today:

1. Ruby came home from math tutoring so jazzed up that we turned the light on the car so she could show me what she learned.

2. Then she had Manin sit down with her at the house so she could show him.

3. Shhhh. Don’t tell. She’s doing pre-algebra already.

4. I discovered that my meek cat Rexie has discovered how to escape the house, via the catio, and explore the yard. “Explore” is a euphemism for “creep around the edges, looking nervously in all directions.” I blocked him. We’ll see if my contraption works.

5. Aiming for another night of reading. Last night sleep caught up with me first!
