Five things that made me happy today:

1. A fabulous sunny cool day in Dallas, TX. When Dallas weather is great it is REALLY great.

2. I went to White Rock Lake at dawn today to see the pelicans and, maybe, spot the eagles. Success with the pelicans.

3. I spent several hours this afternoon watching my youngest grandchild play la crosse. He’s pretty good. His team was in an all-day tournament. There are worse things than sitting in the sun for a few hours watching teens play la crosse.

4. Especially when color commentary is provided by my favorite son, Eric Loehr, father of said la crosse star. 5.

Day capped off with Ruby and three friends dressing up to the nines and going to their first homecoming dance together. So fun.
