Five things that made me happy today:
1. Finished the latest puzzle today. I’ve noticed that, somewhere during Covid Times, I quit caring about speed altogether. I just work on it now and then and slowly it gets done. This one was pretty hard. New Yorker covers are a medium hard challenge.
2. Office-y stuff around the house. Emails, phone calls, filling out forms on line. Small accomplishments.
3. In the same vein, yesterday and today I did some returns via UPS and USPS. I think that part is easier these days.
4. My meeting for Ruby at school yesterday went well. Goal accomplished. Some of #2 above was follow up for that.
5. Really a gorgeous fall day. The red maple at the Soto house is near its peak and the pistache on my street is still spectacular. My next door neighbor has a Bradford pear and I think it’s running late. Two years ago when I moved into this house, it was blooming in late November. We’ll see.
And you? I’d love to hear your adventures with happy today.
Keep going.
