Things that made me happy today:

It’s 6 pm and 78 degrees outside. (And about 80% humidity!!)

Warm, pleasant day puttering around the house — laundry a little shopping, a new puzzle that’s really hard and cost less than $10 on sale at WalMart, etc.)

I think my kalanchoe is recovering from its near-freeze a few weeks ago. Of the three ginormous stems, one seems to be proceeding apace, as they say. Stay tuned.

Making headway reading the report of the 1/6 Committee. I am very goal-oriented about reading non-fiction.

I walked about half a mile this morning in the neighborhood, before it was really light and definitely less humid. Nightgown and crocs my walking gear of choice.

Got packing material for my china collection, to prepare for moving in a few weeks. I’ll be able to set it out and use it occasionally in my new place.
