May 7, 2022. Saturday.

Five things that made me happy today:

1. Community Day at Partnership Explorations. Just like heaven.

2. My neighbor and I got the lawn mowed (him) and edged (me). It’s about an hour’s work for each of us. He bags his clippings and I sweep mine back on the lawn. Then we talk about neighbor things.

3. Both cats make pests of themselves when I am on zoom calls. I’m not sure how much attention would actually make them happy but we haven’t reached it yet!!

4.Mr Texas anole ran back and forth across the fence all day. There are two horizontal boards on the top, laid vertically back to back. They make a little runway. So he runs, stopping occasionally for push ups and throat puffs. He’s pretty entertaining. There must be a female nearby. Later I surprised him or his kin in the bushes while I was working on the lawn. I watched him turn bright green to dull brown when he saw me.

5. Winding down for the night now. Showered and quiet.
