May 30, 2022. Monday.

Five things that made me happy today:

1. Got an early start with edging my lawn. It was so windy I didn’t have to sweep the clippings!

2. Then I mulched my baby tree. Wet newspapers, a stand up border, one bag of mulch. I think another will be required when it all settles in. My neighbor will be happy with an Edge, instead of just a Pile of Mulch from the winter.

3. Puzzle time.

4. Fast trip to Z Tao for lemons. And Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe (Plano, TX) for some caramel pudding.

5. I thought the knock on the door was Ruby coming over with friends so I ran downstairs in a towel to answer. Nope, internet sales guy. A little bit of an awkward moment. But he did have a really good deal, I generally have fun with sales people, and I have been shopping lately.
