Five things that made me happy today:

1. The correct missing puzzle pieces arrived today from Pomegranate puzzles. Fast and accurate service from one of my favorite puzzle companies.

2. Rexie the cat is sleeping next to my computer and writhing around, asking for pets. He is insatiable. No matter how I stop what I am doing and pet him, he always wants more. There must be something off in his genetic makeup, right?

3. I discovered today that there is in the neighborhood an even smaller rabbit than my Ringo, who I think was born during the winter. A tiny tiny was in the alley today, half the size of Ringo, no more than 4 or 5".

4. I am writing a final report for Max and Ruby’s school of the places we visited this year on our Corona Tour. I count 26. There were at least half a dozen return trips, and some local forays that did not get counted. Our first trip was May 23, 2020, almost exactly a year. That’s a pretty rich year of learning and adventures.

5. An early night, off line. Some reading. And some stormy anticipation. ’Tis the season for scary Texas weather and I moved many of my houseplants outside for a good drink of fresh rainwater tonight.

And you? I’d love to hear what happened today that made you happy. Or last week. What you got?

Keep going.
