Five things that made me happy today:

1. One step closer to getting Max registered at Collin College. It is not an easy thing I’ll just say. We got 4 of 10 pages done on the ApplyTexas, the state-wide registration for colleges in Texas. The app asked for the second line of his street address. There is no second street address line. We have emailed for tech help. Texas prizes its education system.

2. Getting Ruby set up for summer school after all. We found out today she can work at her own speed. Which is faster than the class.

3.The bunny population has exploded on the alley. They are still avoiding (?) my back yard but plentiful in the front. How do bunnies decide that?

4. Shopping late Sunday afternoon at one of my favorite groceries, it felt like a summer weekend. Most everyone in shorts. Bare faces. (Very few masks any more inside unless it’s really crowded and people are sitting.) Some silliness with leaving my cart at the cashier to get a last minute request. The bag boys and girls carry your groceries to the car unless you say No, and they have been trained to talk with you while you remember where your car is. (Of course, the only yellow car in the lot is easy to find!) Grocery shopping at its most pleasant.

5. Early bedtime for some good reading.

And you? I’d love to hear what made you happy today.

Keep going.
