Five things that made me happy today:

1. Finished the last third of the testing for the UTHSC longevity study. Personally, I think I got the best scores today. But I will never know. I’m glad to contribute something to their research and make a few dollars for my time.

2. Mr Texas Anole jumped over on my window screen this morning, chasing a moth. I couldn’t tell if he was successful or not but I didn’t see the moth again.

3. Led a fun workshop for the Women’s Evening Alliance at my church this evening. A full house. They are just getting back into on-site attendance, although they offer zoom as well. I think we had 25 participants looking at How Do You Know What You Know? with my now-famous collection of the Mangrum family pictures.

4. Ruby came home excited about a classroom project, a science demonstration for later this week. I think her teachers are pulling out all the stops to give the kids one more chance to get a decent grade for the year. She’s doing something about making ice cream which I haven’t been able to connect to biology. We shall see.

5. Got hooked on Heartstpper on Netflix, a gay coming of age adventure with some really good acting and sympathetic characters. Each show is about 30 minutes, so it’s easy to click right along. Remember when series television required tuning in every week?

Your turn! What made you happy today? I’d love to hear about it.

Keep going.
