Five things that made me happy today:
(And it was a very happy day!)
1. Elephants at the zoo. As members we got in the hour before the zoo is open to the public. We said hello to the elephants, fed the giraffes, checked in with the triple lion cubs, and made our way out. See pic below.
2. We headed for Mineral Wells and the
, one of our favorite Carona Tour stops. It did not disappoint. It is worth the trip from Dallas. Almost totally unoccupied, except . . .
3. Both times we have visited, Ruby has mentioned what a agreat setting it would be for a wedding. This time she said she would like to have a pajama wedding there.
and I said we’d be glad to attend in pajamas. THEN, as we left numerous cars pulled up with wedding celebrants for an afternoon wedding. Get this: They were wearing satin dressing robes. The groom and the women. I told Ruby the Universe did not realize she was asking for HER pajama wedding, just a pajama wedding. See the video below.
4. Lunch at @Polido’s Restaurant in Mineral Wells. Excellent. Really excellent.
5. We played Ruby’s music, loud, in the car returning. BeeGees, Queen, some Latin stuff, good car karaoke.
