Five things that made me happy today:

1. Sunny, spring-y day until the clouds and wind moved in.

2. Bradford pears are blooming everywhere. The folks who planted them 30 or 40 years ago didn’t know and the trees are knockouts now.

3. So are the redbuds and Texas plums and something else pink I saw earlier today.

4. A really good first meeting with a new member of our family team today. Yay,us.

5. Max got his iphone screen replaced and a nuclear-safe Otter Box for it for less than $200. There’s a CPR (Cell Phone Repair) franchise close to us and they consistently under promise and over deliver. Our active family breaks something pretty often. They should give us Frequent Flyer Miles.
