Five things that made me happy today:

1. Max and Ruby got up and off to school today with way less than the usual prodding.

2. Max walked home. He is beginning to think about walking in the morning but his calculations don’t include that it will require getting up earlier.

3. I set two doctor’s appointments for medical stuff I have been delaying for weeks or months. They are next week. I was surprised that they were so soon.

4. I like to wear skirts. And today was one of those days.

5. One of my puzzle partners and I had a trade today. Her car is bright green and mine is, you know, yellow. So it’s fun to see them together. In about five more years I might stop having so much fun with my yellow car.
