Five things that made me happy today:

1. Pleasant, warm day, with sunshine, heading into a rainy night. Typical Dallas spring.

2. A quick trip to Lowe’s where the guy showed me how to make something work. Yay for people who know more about hardware than me.

3. Setting yesterday’s new plants into their place in the garden and on the porch and out of the way of tonight’s possible hail.

4. Transplanted some of my rootlings to their big pots. My kitchen window is looking a little bare!

5. Brunch plans for the weekend with the woman who bought my car. Instant friendship.
