Five things that made me happy today:

1. A wren was IN my hanging basket on my front porch when I opened the door today. Maybe she’s making another nest. That would be cool!

2. More sunshine. All day.

3. Bingeing on The Wire. Really good TV. No kidding.

4. Brief visit with two grandsons. We were headed for a Cousins’ Club dinner but hardly anything coordinated. We’ll try again when they’re home from camp. We did have a good time in the car. In my great yellow car.

5. Some nailing down of details of summer travel for all. It’s fun to make plans and anticipate.
