5 things that made me happy today:

1. I discovered how to dial back to a specific date on facebook to save my 5 things posts for the last few months. I have just been thinking I’d like to have access to them one day. Now I do/will. YAAAAAY.

2.It was really cool to glance over a dozen or so 5 things from January and be immediately present to the flavor of that day. It’s a practice I’m glad I started.

3. Kent Ellingson played jazz piano at church this morning. Wow! Just wow!

4. Took Ruby and her BFF to a K-Pop store (who knew?) and it was amazing. A little place smaller than a two-car garage, packed to the ceiling with incredibly overpriced Korean (mostly) merchandise — boy bands, anime characters, etc. Girls spent their money while I went down the street to

5. 99 Market. Goodness. A wonderful Asian market in Frisco. Huuuuge produce section. Butcher shop across the back with meat and tons of fresh fish, cafes, bakeries, drinks, etc in one corner, aisles and aisles of spices and dried foods and, really, who-knows-what. I bought salmon for dinner which Mañin Soto and I agreed is some of the best we’ve ever had. Plus some fresh corn. Turns out Sophie (the BFF) is a more adventuresome conversationalist than Ruby and Max and spurs them on a bit.

What made you happy today? I love to read about it. Please share.

Keep going.
