Five things that made me happy today:

1. First sighting: A new littlest bunny, of the Diamond Blaze clan, startled out of the red bud tree cluster this morning. He would fit in my hand, with room to grow.

2. A relatively quick visit to neighborhood PrimaCare to get my eye infection treated. Followed by a long nap, and a return to near-normalcy. Almost time for another sleep!

3. The two people who were in line in front of me this morning to see the doc both dropped something on the floor as they got up to leave the waiting room. I stopped them both before they went too far and handed them the items. The second guy and I had a little moment of levity noticing it. I said I was the Picker Upper for the day.

4. A new show is opening at Valley House next weekend. We are going to take a peek tomorrow. Valley House Gallery & Sculpture Garden is a family favorite.

5. Really fresh, right off the truck, corn still in the husk at the grocery this morning. 40 cents an ear. About as cheap as it gets without driving out to the farmers’ market or the farm. Yum.
