Five things that made me happy today:

1. Sunny, chilly day. Good light for doing things around the house.

2. New season of Queer Eye. Watched #1. It’s okay except it’s a really really corny (even for QE) depiction of Austin. Those boys must have been embarrassed to have any one watch them during their free time.

3. Easing back into school days. Ruby starts tomorrow. After an erroneous and failed try at rousing her from sleep this morning to catch the bus.

4. A little puzzle time in the front room with so much sun I had to close the blinds part way.

5. Picking up Max from the gym where he has started going by himself. That’s probably a developmental benchmark.
