Things that made me happy today:

At last the weather warmed up and I got to make a grocery run. It was great to get out in the sunshine.

Cornbread for supper. This time I made it in my cast iron skillet. It really makes a nice crust.

Lots of photo ops this morning with the ice melting everywhere. I am going to use some of the tree images in some art I’m working on. I’ve had an image in my mind for months now. I think I’ve figured out how to do it.

I did finish this Ice Days puzzle today. It was beautiful to work on. It’s an Eeboo puzzle that I picked up at The Toy Maven (Preston Hollow) last Sunday.

And I got in some reading, Copperhead Demon, Barbara Kingsolver’s latest. I’m about half way through. The more I read, the harder it is to put down!
