Five things that made me happy today:
(I know it’s early, but, hey, there are already five things.)
1. I catch myself speaking in full sentences to my cats. I locked one in the bathroom by accident this morning and apologized profusely when I discovered him.
2. I have a new puzzle (from this week’s trade) and it is just the right degree of difficulty, ease, and beauty.
3. I’m happy that wordle fans are keeping the solution to themselves. It seems an innocent and fun (if annoying to some) pastime. And it’s once a day for a few minutes and you don’t even get invited to my farm. The honor system on display.
4. The eagle pair at White Rock Lake has begun a new nest and they are making baby motions. If eagle fans could influence the outcome, the birds would be raising a couple of chicks in a few weeks!
5. This is my birthday week and my FB fundraiser has already met its goal. That makes me happy. You can find it on my page, if you’re so inclined.
