1. Jupiter watching out for cats and other small animals this morning.

2. Mañin Soto and Max and I had really good burgers at hopdaddy in Preston Center today. Plus some great fries.

3. Three puzzle friends and I met at lunchtime today in a parking lot. We exchanged and then stood in the cold and sun for a while talking about puzzling. Is there anything more nerdy? The other two can identify themselves if they wish.

4. For reasons, I moved to a larger purse recently from one I’ve carried for 12 or 15 years. I’ve been having a hard time figuring out how to keep some things, mostly cards, in that bigger bag. I bought a couple of card cases, one for me, one for the Soto house, that are perfect for what I need. I know. Small but meaningful victory. I might could be happier with a $200 bag, but I doubt it.

5. Another knowledgeable and generous person parachuted in today, unexpectedly. You know how, when you start a project, folks who know things just kind of parachute in? And you didn’t have any idea they knew x. One of those folks. Makes me very happy.
