Five things that made me happy today:
1. Church. A really good sermon by our visiting minister Rev Ruth MacKenzie. And the choir was singing up in the choir loft. One of the best features of in-person church is singing. We practice social distancing and everyone is masked, lest you be worrying now.
2. The Bradford pears in the neighborhood are at last starting to turn. They are a beautiful fiery red, and they transform little by little. See below.
4. What a relaxing day. Other than church, my plans fell through. No one to meet. No calls to make. Nothing to buy, not even groceries or gas.
5. I did get a neighborhood walk in and it feels like spring, not fall. Breezy, damp, quiet. Chilly night coming, though.
And you? What made you happy today?
Keep going.
