Five things that made me happy today:

1. Still having fun with puzzles. Even an hour is a great time out.

2. Crazy Texas winter weather. It’s still 75 degrees outside at 630 pm.

3. Puttering around the house today, waiting for enough hours of drying out to edge the front walk for the last time this year. Happily, that didn’t happen, so I have saved it for another day.

4. Had a very funny text conversation with Ruby that involved an inhuman amount of persistence by both of us. I won the skirmish. Narrowly.

5. Signing off early to watch a movie from long ago. If I can find it. Ruby says I really liked it. I’ll report back.
