Five things that made me happy today:

1. Woke up about 4 am to the sound of some gentle rain on the skylight in my front hall. Whoever invented skylights needs a monument.

2. So many bunnies out after the rain. I think there were three on the patio at the same time. Corn, peanuts, bird food, and a bit of whatever sprouting in the cracks = fresh salad for the grazing.

3. I think I got all the records Plano schools needs for Ruby’s registration. Everything had to be scanned and uploaded. Not as bad as I thought plus I now have them in my phone should I ever need them again.

4. Getting up so early gave me about an hour of reading time in favorite fat chair. In a real paper book with a highlighter.

5. I made about a 15 minute trip to Michael’s to get a project priced. I walked out with the estimate and nothing else. I resisted the impulse to take the time to rearrange the letters in the display. Just thinking about a little guerrilla action makes me happy.
