Five things that made me happy today:

1. Picked up supplies for Saturday’s Plano Clean Up from a building where Kim Loehr Soto worked for the City a few years ago. Brought back a flood of memories. Clean Up Day is Saturday and we are cleaning up a stretch of road in Kim’s honor. Text me if you want to join us 8 to 11 Saturday morning.

2. Speed shopping with Ruby at Target. Sometimes you just run out of things to wear.

3. My friend Myra MacPherson is visiting the Dallas family this week. We share the grief-which-never-fades. I am so happy we are still so related.

4. We had an amazing dinner at @Bella Green restaurant near the house. Oh my goodness. Such delicious food and unusual combinations. We both have enough for lunch tomorrow.

5. Looks like we’re in for a night and day of rain — good for sleeping and for staying at home.
