Five things that made me happy today:

1. A beautiful sunny day.

2. The mockingbird was going crazy in front of the house.

3. Took my bright yellow car to the drive-through car wash, used the vacuum (which would probably swallow a medium-sized bird), used their towels to wipe down the glass and the dash and the bottom of the doors. Plus scrub off a few stuck on things. I feel so virtuous.

4. Met a friend for a trip to White Rock Lake and Sunset Bay to feed the birds. Paula Gray is my new friend who bought my old car. Doesn’t everyone make friends when they sell their car?

5. Then a pleasant pizza at SPIN! Pizza (Richardson, TX), in the late afternoon sun and warmth on their patio. It’s good to have an IRL social outing again!!
