Brunch with friends. Really a super thing to do on Sunday morning. Ruby went with me this morning because she had training this afternoon to be a junior counselor at next week’s SumFun. Cousins’ Club meeting tonight at Spin Pizza. Individual pizzas made to order + gelato + teenage talk. Hard to beat!

Things that made me happy today: Got a new printer to replace one that was jamming. It was near the end of its expected lifespan. Ordered on line. $50. Picked up at the nearest store. Brought it home in a box. Plugged it in. — I remember the olden days. Lunch with friends at City Cafe again. The place was overrun with Highland Park ladies and their off spring. First Monday after school is out. Very different from our Sunday brunch where we have the place mostly to ourselves.
