3. Dialed in to an on-line class that I like a lot.

4. The Great British Baking Show has dropped a new Christmas show that I’m enjoying.

5. Phone chat with my sister, Katie Foster Dunn. It’s been a while.

1. Max and I went shopping after school for some pants that fit. He’s lost about 30 pounds over the last many months and he needs a belt to keep his pants up. …

1. A little housecleaning this morning. Dusting here. Mopping the floor there. OK. That’s enough.

1. Church. Good sermon. Good music. (I love it when the organ and piano play together.) Followed by

2.L.o.n.g brunch with friends.

3. A gorgeous sunny day. Rain gone for the time being.

4. Got in a short walk around the neighborhood.

5. A l.o.n.g PHONE conversation with a l.o.n.g time friend. Maybe 40 years? She invited me to take the est training in 1981. Most impactful choice I ever made.

1. (From yesterday) — finished the finale of the Great British Baking Show (or whatever the title is). For the first time that I remember, I watched as the shows were released, so it took 8 or 9 weeks to see the whole…

Five things that made me happy today:

1. All the grandkids call me MarySue. From time to time. It’s always a little jolt.

2. I finished the newest puzzle. See below. Irony of ironies — this was the replacement puzzle from the last one that was missing a piece and this one is also missing a piece in nearly the same place. Hmmmm.

3. Beautiful sunny day. Chillier outside than it looks.

4. A long zoom call with a friend.

5. Got my Christmas decorations out of the garage except one box marked Xmas, which has sat by the back door since January 2021 when I took down last year’s decorations. I think that’s a neglect record.

1. Cooked off and on all day. Even had to borrow pans from the Sotos because I don’t have any big ones any more.

Five things that made me happy today:

1. Seeing memories from 12 years ago — Thanksgiving in Melbourne, Australia. It was a wonderful ten days or so.

2. Max and I went to Frisco Discovery Center to see Lavanya Challa’s art.

3. Then we checked out the trains — one of our favorite destinations for Granma MarySue’s Covid Tour 20–21.

4. Tried a trial subscription to Dinnerly, one of those meal-ingredients-and-recipes delivered to your door thing. I got the most allergy-free dishes I could find. Talapia tonight.

5. All my ingredients are ready for Thanksgiving cooking tomorrow. Turkey, stuffing, and my special upside down onion topped cornbread.
